Drive through the Botanical Gardens and lush Roseau Valley before the 15-minute walk to the spectacular twin waterfalls of Trafalgar Falls. Climb over the boulders to swim at the base of the falls. Then drive through the capital Roseau and along the west Caribbean coast, through the Antrim Valley to the Emerald Pool, one of the island's beautiful waterfalls within the rainforest Morne Trois Piton National Park. Enjoy a 15-minute walk through the rainforest to the Emerald Pool which is so called because it reflects the greenery of the surrounding vegetation.

Book Now Freshwater Lake & Boeri Lake Hike
Visit these two crater lakes located within the Morne Trois Piton National Park. From the village of Laudat a 45-minute hike along a dirt road takes you to the first of the two lakes, the Freshwater Lake, located under the shadows of Morne Micotrin the fourth highest mountain on the island. The hike continues toward the Boeri Lake approximately an hour away. This time the hike is on a mountain trail, which is more difficult and passes through some lush vegetation and crosses a few mountain streams form which you can drink the pure water.

Drive through the Roseau to the Botanical Gardens and up the Roseau Valley to the village of Laudat. Hike for 45 minutes, to the Freshwater Lake within the Morne Trois Piton National Park. The hike is very scenic and offers great opportunities for photography with the highest mountain ranges visible. Next is a drive to the village of Laudat followed by a walk to Ti Tou Gorge, one of the most unique and fascinating places on the island. Ti Tou Gorge is a crevice in a mountain with a waterfall inside which you can swim up between the rocks to the waterfall.

Book Now The Boiling Lake Experience
The Boiling Lake hike, an ardous 8hr. hike, is one the most popular activities in Dominica. This hike offers some of the most spectacular views into the heart of Dominica's rugged interior. The climb up Morne Nichols is the first real challenge. On the crest of Morne Nichols you will be on the highest point of the trail. The dramatic descent into the Valley of Desolation begins with encounters of streams with water about 94˚. The trail continuously rises and falls as it snakes its way up and down ridges, crossing streams then finally reaching the Boiling Lake with a temp. of over 200˚. On the hike back, visit the incredible Ti Tou Gorge.

Drive through the capital Roseau and along the west Caribbean coast. Turning inland up the Imperial Road, through the Antrim Valley to the Emerald Pool, one of the island's beautiful waterfalls within the rainforest of the Morne Trois Piton National Park. Next to diving, whale watching is the most popular water sport activity in Dominica. Giant sperm whales reside in the waters and can be seen year-round. Other species such as humpbacks, dwarf sperm, short-finned pilot, pygmy sperm, false killer, beaked and the occasional orca, are often seen on our expeditions. Operators generally have a 90% success rate in seeing whales or dolphins. Boats are equipped with hydro - phones which are used to track the movement of the whales.

One of the most spectacular and exciting waterfalls in Dominica earned its name from the island's indigenous Kalinago people. Drive along windy lush country roads to the village of Laplaine where you will be start your dramatic hike to this beautiful water fall. The hike begins through a banana plantation, then descends steeply into the Sari Sari River Gorge. Shaded by the canopy of lush rainforest and serenaded by the murmur of the river, intrepidly trudge up the gorge until, as if by enchantment, the Sari Sari Falls appear and beckons you to come forward and swim in its refreshing pool.

From Roseau travel in a northerly direction passing through several coastal villages. After about an hour drive, arrive in the agricultural area of Syndicate where crops like bananas, citrus, dasheen, pumpkins and yams are grown. Head into the Syndicate Rainforest which is located at the foothills of Morne Diablotin, the island's highest mountain. Visitors will be able to see some of the best specimens of rainforest trees like the giant Gommier and the incredibly buttressed Chataignier, often inhabited by various epiphytes and stranglers.
